Suwon Sound Market Vol.2 — Play and Sell Instruments
🎸 Suwon Sound Market Vol.2: "Polish It, Tighten It, Oil It Up!"There are few things in this world that don't taste good when chewed — and even fewer objects that don't make a sound when hit.Strike someone's back with a back-scratcher and you'll hear a satisfying thwack. Hurl a stainless tumbler from the district office onto the floor and a clear tone rings out. What matters is how hard you hit it and how far you throw it.Back-scratchers, tumblers, whatever mysterious object you have — bring it. On this day, polish it with care, tighten every bolt, and oil it up before you arrive.Gyeonggi Art Collective has prepared a marketplace for those who've lost their touch — where instruments (or things that will soon be treated as instruments) are shared, loud conversations are had, lubricant is consumed, and every kind of sound is exchanged.🛠️ When & Where?📅 Date: Sunday, June 21, 2026 · 14:00–19:00📍 Venue: DOT (B1F, 34-1 Hwaseomun-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon)💰 Admission: Free for everyone!⚙️ How Does It Work?[Part 1] Flea Market (14:00~17:00)Stalls line up selling things that make sounds — or things that will soon become instruments. This goes toward the after-party, staff appreciation, and general cleanup.📦 What Can You Sell?Things that already make sounds (or will): guitars, effects pedals, mics, cables, instrument-shaped toys, green tea bags, nail clippers, fresh-baked cookies…Things that help sounds happen indirectly: DAW licenses, sample packs, WD-40 for broken mixers…Things that help the humans who make sounds: guitar lesson coupons, carpool passes, restaurant guides, Tylenol, moral support… (all forms of labor welcome)Anything else you can justify!🚨 NotesPart 2 acts get 15 minutes per team.
